Day 5: Back to the living

Getting sick would never be part of anyone's plan. Well, probably part of the school-hating child, but the unpleasant experience of being sick is not what many people would desire.

It's been almost a week since Ajexx fell sick, and even now, he was still experiencing traces of the virus that had attacked him. The doctor he visited, whose attitude was probably as cold as the air-conditioning in the clinic, had not done much to help him and the medicines he had prescribed was hardly effective at all. Well, he was happy that he was recovering at least.

Falling sick had, however, helped him to sort out his life. He was happy for the much needed rest (ironically he was having his school holidays) away from life, and falling sick had helped him to do that. Ajexx hoped that with gradual recovery, he can proceed through his holiday with greater thought into how he was going to spend it.

Whilst lying in bed, Ajexx looked back at the time he had wasted lazing around, and he was now determined that he'd be less slothful for the remaining two months of his holiday. He'd put in more heart into practicing the piano, more effort into his internship, more interest into interests that yielded more visible benefits. He'd strive to continue his preparation for the coming school semester.

Well, Ajexx really hoped that his determination would pull through.
