The memories of the trip to Melbourne still cling to Ajexx's mind, albeit regrettably it was now somewhat of a distant memory. And yet Ajexx realised, after his return, that it was not the country that he missed, but the experience itself: of travelling down the long and winding roads of Victoria, looking out of the car window at cattle and sheep gazing on vast green fields below a clear blue sky, and the occasional kangaroo.
Having grew up in the city, travelling along the uncluttered, tree-filled roads of Australia was a literal breath of fresh air. There was a difference, Ajexx realised, between the cool Autumn breeze and air-conditioning: the former was cool yet moist, the breathing-in of which invigorated the senses; the former was clustered and stale, a poor and cheap imitation of the former.
One day, Ajexx hoped that he would be able to escape from the city to the countryside. He knew that city-life had its benefits, yet having spent a week away from it, Ajexx knew he liked the country more.

Day 3: Why am I doing this?
Ajexx has no idea why he is doing this, but then again, he has no idea why he does many things. The mid-year humidity must have gotten to his head, and he'd say his day has been pretty much ruined. It started out with a failed attempt at resisting laziness until he got tired of that and had to lie down.
And that was it.
And so here he is, trying to figure a way out of this hole of dazed misery he has found himself in. He really needs to get a grip, or his holiday is going to go to waste. Again.

Day 2: Not again!
It seems that Ajexx had failed yet again. Ajexx does have some commitment issues and this he blames on his laziness which sticks to him like a horrible, incurable plague. Every night, he'd took at himself inwardly and say: "Tomorrow, work hard!" and in the morning feel the tugs of I-don't-want-to-do-work which eventually would ruin his whole day again.
But it seems that Ajexx has finally won (albeit a small victory) against himself. He had finally gotten something useful done in the morning, and he hopes that it'd continue for the rest of the day. However, many days in Ajexx's past have begun the same way as before, and have progressed even more horribly than those in which Ajexx lazed all day.
What about tomorrow? Would Ajexx be able to keep up with his commitments tomorrow, then the day after that, and the many days to come (assuming his life does not end at this very moment...)?
Well, we'll see.

Day 1: It's a start
It's been a whole month since Ajexx had returned from his trip with his family to Melbourne. It was an eye-opening trip but nonetheless, much to Ajexx's dismay, city life had caught up with him and here he was, back in his usual routine as though nothing had changed.
Ajexx's first year at university closed with but a small whimper, a last desperation to complete assignments and hand them up before his trip to Melbourne took off. But it was definitely great to throw all of that to the cold Australian wind and forget all his past worries and troubles, all of which where now now things of the past (near-past, distant-past, what's the difference? There's no getting them back.)
And here Ajexx is now, after a week of hunting for internships and part-time jobs (after his application to a book-publishing internship was rejected). He had landed his first internship (a stay-at-home, work-at-your-own-pace one) while trying to catch up on some supplementary learning on his own part.
Two and a half months before school starts again. It's a start, I guess.
